Introduction

Online databases are available for staff and student use. Users will be automatically authenticated by accessing the databases within the Clark County School District (CCSD) network. To access the databases outside of the CCSD network, use the usernames and passwords provided. For questions, please contact your teacher-librarian.


Online Databases Funded by the Nevada State Library, Archives, and Public Records (NSLAPR) 

The following online databases are funded by the NSLAPR. 


  • ABC-CLIO is a publisher of educational and reference products. These databases focus on history and social studies resources for the scholar, student, teacher, and librarian in universities and secondary schools. Refer to databases.abc-clio.com



  • EBSCO Databases provide a wealth of resources across all levels and curriculum, including access to newspapers, magazines, and professional periodicals. There are professional resources for educators. Refer to search.ebscohost.com

  • World Book Online includes Early Learning, World Book Kids, World Book Student, World Book Advanced, Enciclopedia Estudiantil Hallazgos, Timelines, and Dramatic Learning.
